RDC, a subsidiary of Arrow Electronics, Inc., and part of Arrow`s global value recovery business, was recently awarded a five-star rating by Investors in Zero Waste for its efforts in reducing the amount of waste it sends to landfills. RDC improved its processes to ensure that zero IT and packaging waste went to landfills, saving landfill fees and improving environmental credibility.

Established in 2010, and now with over 500 members, Investors in Zero Waste is an ongoing recognition in the UK that rewards the innovation and commitment of businesses, public authorities and third-sector organisations who are striving to eliminate waste.

The awards ceremony on 8th December, hosted by BBC’s political correspondent Ben Wright, saw more than 40 businesses recognised for their progress towards Zero Waste to Landfill.
